General purpose of the position

The food security Scope registration officer oversees the implementation of the WFP funded SCOPE registration exercise within Magumeri/Bama (Banki)/Mobbar/Ngala LGA, Borno state. Working closely with the other FSL project officers and scope registrars, ensure smooth Scope registration of beneficiaries.

Tasks and Main Responsibilities

 Manages and regularly updates the Food Security and Livelihood project SCOPE registration in

compliance with the defined project strategy as well as INTERSOS and WFP guidelines.

 Supervises the SCOPE registration team and provide appropriate guidance and oversight as they conduct daily field activities.

 Ensures total management of the SCOPE registration equipment, materials and data.

 Manges the SCOPE registration data, progress report of the e-registration activities to enhancing smooth distribution exercise.

 Carries out capacity building activities in order to ensure the delivery of quality assistance delivery to the beneficiaries.

 Manages shared e-registration related complaint in accordance with WFP guidelines.

 Liaises closely with WFP SCOPE Unit/Office regarding on SCOPE related issues.

 Participates along-with other project officers in coordination meetings, if requested

 Prepares and submits all SCOPE project reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Professional requirements

 MSc in Computer Programming/Sciences/ Social Sciences.

 Minimum 2 years of experience on SCOPE Registration/ e-registration,

 Experience project implementation a humanitarian context;

 Experience in data collection and analysis

 Experience in SCOPE registration training and manual preparation;

 Proficiency with MS Project, MS Suit, DevOPS,

Personal requirements

 Fluency in English, both written and oral including local language an advantage

 Capacity to adapt to basic living conditions;

 Ability to put up with job pressure; strong negotiation and Good organization skills

 Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines;

 Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts, psychologically stressful environments and physical hardships.

 Understands work from a process point of view and uses measurement and accountability systems effectively.

 Demonstrates openness and transparency

 Ability and willingness to travel between across locations of implementation within LGA
